Samuel Ocon was born on June 14th, 1998 in Pilsen, Chicago into family of four, including his older brother, mom, and dad. Three years after he was born, the first of Samuel’s younger brothers was born, and three years later, the youngest brother was born. Thus, the Ocon Family grew to seven, including Sam. At the age of ten, Samuel moved from the small apartment he inhabited with his family to a nice house in Berwyn, Illinois. There he lived for four years, until difficult, strenuous circumstances forced his family, minus two members, to migrate to an apartment in Chicago, very near to where he was born originally.
All throughout his life, one thing has been precious to Sam: Literature. The art of reading and writing. He fervently pursues good books, recently discovering the intricate magic that is Stephen King’s writing. On his own, he pursues writing and reading with a passion unmatched by anyone in the world today ( a very fictitious fact, I assure you). Sam dedicates his time to reading, writing, and enjoying the occasional video game or pick-up game. He currently attends Midtown Educational Foundation for 2014 summer, choosing to spend his time improving in the classroom than spending his days at home.
