Daniel Garcia was born into a family of six on March 26, 2000. He started playing music when he was four years old at the People’s Music school located in Uptown. Daniel is a percussionist and studies music theory. He plays for his school’s honors band and is in the top 45 in his school. Daniel attends UIC College Prep which is located on Damen and Roosevelt on the UIC campus.
From Pre-K to Eighth grade, Daniel attended Inter- American Magnet school which is located on Fremont and Waveland. During seventh and eighth grade, Daniel decided to join the school basketball team which lead to him losing a great amount of weight. Christopher, his oldest brother is 22 years old, while Jeffrey is 18 years old. His youngest brother, Nicholas, is 13 years old.
In the future, Daniel wants to become an orthopedic doctor. His father worked for Loyola as a medical assistant and wants to follow his footsteps. Out of all the fields in medicine, Daniel decided to become an orthopedic doctor due to his friend breaking his elbow in the second grade. The doctor who influenced Daniel’s decision of being an orthopedic doctor was Dr. Prince. Dr. Prince fixed Daniel’s elbow in a span of six weeks.
